About the author
Scott A. Rusinko, born in Richmond, CA, moved to Eatonville, WA, where he graduated from Eatonville High School in 1984. Joining the Navy at 17, he served aboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65) and met his wife Lisa while stationed in California. Scott retired from the military in 2006 after serving in the Navy Reserves and Army National Guard. Now residing in Tacoma, WA, with his family, Scott writes poetry inspired by his life and the wisdom of his late grandmother, Wanda Rusinko.
